EU imposed sanctions against Ekaterina Andreeva
The European Union has imposed sanctions on propagandist Ekaterina Andreeva.
Ekaterina Andreeva — one of the most recognizable faces of Putin’s propaganda — has been placed under EU sanctions.
Andreeva spends two weeks a month on TV lying to Russians about the “rotten West” and praising Putin — and the other two weeks traveling around Europe. Now she won’t be able to keep doing that.
In our investigation, we showed how, during the war, Andreeva was able to travel around the world without any problems — and that she holds not only Russian citizenship, but also passports from Montenegro and Honduras.
The Anti-Corruption Foundation called for sanctions against Andreeva, ran an international campaign, and held pickets.
Congratulations to everyone who helped us spread the investigation — this win is yours too.
