Putin’s confidant, Ildar Abdrazakov will not sing in Don Giovanni at Verona’s Teatro Filarmonico this January. Fondazione Arena confirmed he has been removed from the cast following public protests and appeals—exactly what we demanded.

The production had been scheduled for January 18, 21, 23 and 25, 2026, but Abdrazakov is no longer listed.
