Yulia Navalnaya Calls on Europe to Stand Against Putin’s Regime and Develop a Unified Strategy

Yulia Navalnaya spoke at the Bled Strategic Forum in Slovenia, where she stated that European countries still lack a unified strategy to confront Putin’s regime. Navalnaya put forward a vision in which Russia becomes a democratic European country within its internationally recognized borders.
We see a wide range of opinions, but we don’t see a strategy. Of course, a strategy for Russia can not be developed without Russia. Without that part of civil society that stands against Putin. Without those who have been working for years on democratic, European principles, protesting against the war, and fighting the dictatorship at the risk of their freedom and lives.

She urged European countries to distinguish between Putin and Russia, to help Ukraine and support Russian civil society. Navalnaya also suggested stopping support for those who spread hatred against Russians, that Europe should refuse to negotiate with Putin as a legitimate president, and should reject any proposals to divide Russia into smaller parts, as this issue only serves Putin’s propaganda.

During the conference, Navalnaya had several high-level meetings, including one with the President of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar.
