The concert of Putin's conductor Valery Gergiev, which was supposed to take place in Italy on July 27, has been cancelled. This is the result of an important campaign by the FBK.

The performance by Gergiev, Putin's confidant, propagandist, and supporter of the war, caused a real political scandal in Italy.

The FBK demand to cancel the conductor's concert was supported by the Italian Minister of Culture, the General Director of the New York Metropolitan Opera, and the former Minister of Foreign Affairs. 700 Nobel laureates and intellectuals addressed the President of the European Commission and the President of Campania with a demand not to allow Gergiev's concert.

The main Italian newspapers reported on this on the front pages.

In the end, with the support of local activists and politicians, we were able to get Gergiev's concert cancelled.
