ACF International

In 2021, Alexei Navalny announced that the Anti-Corruption Foundation was taking a new step.

We said that Putin and his crooks wouldn’t be able to destroy the Anti-Corruption Foundation. On the contrary, it would become a global international foundation.

We continue to hold accountable those responsible for the rise of Putin’s dictatorship, not only in Russia but around the world. We combat the spread of the Kremlin’s corruption abroad and actively engage with Western political leaders.

In our meetings, we emphasize that Putin is not Russia and that Russians who were forced to leave their country should not be discriminated against for crimes they had no part in.

What's our aim?

Putin is not just Russia’s problem; he’s a global threat. He and his cronies are looting our country and funneling money to the West, where they bribe political parties and even entire governments. Meanwhile, Russian intelligence services target critics of the regime. We want to see Putin's enablers held accountable.

Since the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine, we’ve been advocating for sanctions against those responsible for its initiation and ongoing development. We’ve been reaching out to law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, and governments around the world, explaining the role of oligarchs and corruption in propping up Putin’s criminal regime. And we’re making progress. The European Union is already sanctioning individuals featured in our investigations and responding to our efforts. The U.S. Congress is set to coordinate with us in the fight against corruption.
