Yulia Navalnaya has announced a competition to design a memorial for Alexei Navalny which will stand at his grave in Moscow. To bring this vision to life, we’ve launched the Remembrance Memorial competition website to collect submissions. This memorial will be a powerful symbol for Navalny's supporters and all those who oppose Putin’s dictatorship. To ensure it is truly a people's memorial, we invite everyone who wishes to take part in its creation.

Anyone can send in their design, even if you're not a professional architect, sculptor or artist. We are open to all ideas! Just follow the basic guidelines and submit your design by 31 January 2025. Full details can be found on the Alexei Navalny Memorial website.

Alexei’s family will choose the three best designs and then together we’ll choose the final winner via a public vote.

You can also contribute to the Navalny memorial by donating through the website. All the funds raised will go towards creating the memorial at the Borisovskoye Cemetery. If we collect more than we need for this project, the remaining funds will go towards establishing Navalny memorials in other locations.
