Putin’s negotiator, Kirill Dmitriev, and his family own real estate worth 7.5 billion rubles. They possess luxury apartments and estates in Russia, France, Monaco, and the UAE. This is revealed in a new investigation by the FBK.

Before becoming a government official, Dmitriev worked in large consulting firms and at the investment bank Goldman Sachs. This allowed him to acquire expensive real estate: a 500-square-meter house in the Moscow region and a 150-square-meter apartment in the “Dom na Ozerkovskoy” residential complex in Moscow. However, in 2011, Dmitriev gave up his successful international career and moved into public service, becoming the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF). Since then, he and his relatives have significantly increased their wealth.

A few months after Dmitriev’s appointment, his wife, Natalia Popova, bought a 200-square-meter property in Moscow City for 157 million rubles. There, she registered a company called “Investment Management ’FTI’” — a joint venture with Vladimir Putin’s daughter, Katerina Tikhonova. Popova also works at the “Innopraktika” fund, which is headed by Tikhonova. Popova’s brother, Pavel, is also employed there and earns over 1,100,000 rubles a month.

In 2014, Dmitriev’s family bought two apartments in the “Ostrov Fantaziy” residential complex with a total area of 620 square meters. Three years later, Popova herself bought another 200-square-meter apartment in the same building. Popova’s 70-year-old mother became the owner of a luxurious house in the elite Moscow district of Barvikha. The mansion, with an area of 1,500 square meters, is valued at around 1.25 billion rubles.

In Moscow, Dmitriev and his family also own: an apartment in the “Kutuzovsky 12” complex worth 213 million rubles, four properties in Moscow City worth 810 million rubles, and two apartments on Malaya Bronnaya Street worth about 1.8 billion rubles.

Additionally, Dmitriev’s relatives have purchased: a luxury apartment and villa in Monaco, an apartment in Courchevel, and an entire floor in an elite residential complex in Dubai.

In February 2025, Dmitriev participated in a meeting between Russian and U.S. delegations in Saudi Arabia. Shortly after, he was appointed to an official position as the Special Presidential Representative for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries.
