Launching a Campaign Against Putin’s Party

24 September 2025#Campaigns

The Anti-Corruption Foundation is launching a major campaign against Putin’s Party, United Russia. The State Duma elections are scheduled for September 2026, and we need to start preparing now.

Yulia Navalnaya has recorded a video address.

What’s happening in Russia?

Russia’s elections are not free or fair. They are tightly controlled by the Kremlin to ensure Putin’s power remains unchallenged. United Russia, often called the “party of crooks and thieves,” is the political machine that supports Putin’s regime, including its war in Ukraine and repression at home.

Despite this, election periods are a rare moment when ordinary Russians think about politics and their country’s future.

What is this campaign about?

Yulia’s campaign is not about winning a rigged election—nobody expects real competition in Putin’s Russia. Instead, it’s about exposing the truth: United Russia has no genuine public support, and the election results, announced by officials, are fabricated.

The goal is to show the world—and Russians themselves—that Putin’s regime does not represent the people.

Why does this matter?

Four years ago, in 2021, millions of Russians voted against United Russia, following Navalny’s “Smart Voting” strategy, even as he was imprisoned.

Despite massive fraud, those votes showed that many Russians reject Putin’s party. Today, with censorship, repression, and propaganda at record levels, this campaign aims to break through and remind people of the Russia that could be: peaceful, prosperous, and free.

What’s the plan?

🔸 Expose United Russia’s broken promises: their 2021 program pledged “prosperity” and “better living conditions,” but Russians face soaring prices, isolation, and a collapsing healthcare and infrastructure.

🔸 Spread the truth through videos, social media, and direct conversations, reaching Russians despite censorship.

🔸 Show that United Russia lacks real support—even Kremlin polls admit its approval rating is just 32%.

Why should you care?

Putin uses elections to claim “universal support” for his policies, including the war in Ukraine.

This campaign aims to disrupt that narrative and show the world that millions of Russians do not stand with him or his party. By supporting this effort, you help amplify the voices of those fighting for a different Russia—one that values peace, freedom, and honesty.
