Freeze the Assets of a War Criminal

The Anti-Corruption Foundation demands that Valentina Matviyenko’s luxury villa in Italy be confiscated

Valentina Matviyenko, Speaker of Russia’s Federation Council, authorized Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, making her a war criminal. She constantly complains about Western “Russophobia,” yet travels freely across Europe to attend international conferences, despite EU sanctions. Meanwhile, her family enjoys a lavish villa in Italy, used by her son and his wife. The Matviyenko family’s corrupt assets, with no clear distinction between the shares of mother and son, are located in Europe. ACF calls on the authorities to block Matviyenko from spreading Kremlin propaganda in Europe and seize her Italian property.
